Jack Chocolate Cherries

2 cups dried cherries

750 ml Jack Daniels

2 cups semisweet chocolate

1box of toothpicks

 

Put dried cherries into a mixing bowl.  Add Jack Daniels to cover all cherries.  Let mixture set for 24 hours, stirring occasionally.

Get a double boiler or a sauce pan and a heat tempered bowl and add chopped up chocolate into bowl.  Over medium heat melt chocolate.  Stick toothpicks into the plump cherries.  Put cherries into the chocolate, grab a fork and hold onto the toothpick to take out of the chocolate.  Place on a sheet of parchment paper.  Let cool and serve.
