Cranberries Soaked in Jim Beam Brownies with Glaze Created by Jon Payne 2 cups sugar 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 cup baking cocoa 1 teaspoons salt 1 teaspoon baking powder 2 sticks of butter 3 eggs 2 tablespoons light corn syrup 1 cup chopped soaked cranberries 2 cup confectioners’ sugar 1/3 cup minced soaked cranberries 1/2 cup left over Jim Beam
Directions
Soak dried cranberries in Jim Beam over night! In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, flour, cocoa, salt and baking powder and set aside. In a mixing bowl mix together the oil, eggs, corn syrup and chopped cranberries; add to dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix well. Spread in a greased 13-in.x 9-in.x 2-in. baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25-27 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Whisk together the confectioners’ sugar, minced cranberries and the left over Jim Beam that the cranberries soaked in to make the glaze. Spoon into a zip loc bag and cut the tip of the corner off and squeeze over the cooled brownie squares.
