Tuaca Shortbread Cookies with a Tuaca Glaze

2 c butter, softened

1 c white sugan

4 teaspoons Tuaca liquor

4 c flour

½ c Tuaca

2 c confectioners sugar

 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

 

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.  Stir in the Tuaca; add flour and mix well.

 

Put through a cookie press or roll into a log and chill, then cut into 1/3 circles.  Put on an ungreased cookie sheet.  Bake for 10-12 minutes.  Let cool before you ice cookies.

 

Prepare the glaze:

Whisk together the Tuaca and the confectioners sugar.   Put into a storage bag and cut the tip and squeeze onto the cookies.
